Sarah's face had still been streaming with tears and had almost been red as a tomato. She had to say goodbye to everyone she loved just because she knew her future sister-in-law wouldn't be able to survive in the arena since she had been a healer in training. Who knew if even she could survive in the arena, while she had some experience with some ax's it could prove to be an asset to her in the arena. She had to win but she knew that if she did win she still wouldn't be able to escape the hell of Panem. Many gasped when Sarah had volunteered for a girl that she semi liked for her brother to live the life that he wanted. The escort of district seven let out a giggle and reached out their pale hand towards Sarah to make it onto the stage then in a seconds notice it was gone and the two tributes were pushed onto a train.

Sarah thought it would just be best to listen to her escort and keep in line. She was excited to go to the Capitol since she had always dreamed of how people lived and now it would be that bitter sweet moment. Sarah sat on one of the plush couches that were inside the train when the escort excuse them self to go powder up for dinner. The girl crossed her legs and sat quietly until breaking the silence "You work in the woods right?" she asked knowing that she had seen him before.

Felix knew that she was being nice. But he was still upset. How would they make it out alive? Which one of them would? Would they even make it past the Bloodbath? Felix was scared out of his mind, and he knew that D7 rarely won. He was a lumberjack. Does that count for something? He was strong. He could fight. At least with an ax. Go for the ax. That was his only chanece of winning. Felix recognized Sarah, but they had never met. No reason to meet. Until now. "Yeah, I do." he said.

Sarah nodded "I could tell by your muscles..." she said letting out a giggle trying to lighten the mood, it could help since the two had just been chosen to kill each other. Yes, her fellow tribute was handsome but how could anyone have feelings for a person they had just met and had only seen when she would bring her father and brother lunch in the afternoon and meet them after school so they could walk home together. Tugged at the bottom of her dress and decided to say something else "I'm just kidding...I see you when I go to take my father and my older brother some lunch." she said trying to not make things as awkward as they were at the moment.

He smiled as she complimented him. "Thanks," he said. They were laughing now, but if it came down to it, how was he going to kill her? He couldn't. She was too nice. Too innocent. She didn't do anything. He wouldn't kill her. Someone else would just have to. Or they'd have to make it a fair fight. "Really?" he asked. "I sort of recognized you, but I couldn't figure out where. I guess that's the place." he stated. Hopefully things can continue to be like this. Hopefully they wouldn't turn on each other.

"So, how do you plan on killing me?" she asked just letting out what she needed to say, it was often that a tribute from the same district killed their district partner because they knew their weaknesses. In her eyes she didn't know if she even had any and she didn't even know if Felix had any either. If the two had been lucky enough maybe they could even form an alliance that could take out their major enemies which were the careers. But anyone could take advantage for how much Sarah cared for people and could just end up stabbing her in the back...literally. She almost wanted to cover her mouth after saying what she had said, it just made things even more awkward knowing that the two would most likely end up dead.

Then the fact that she was asking if he would kill her, she could be his only alliance. They'd have to stick together in this one. "You seem like a strong girl, I think we can take them." he said. He knew that their District was usually Bloodbath fodder, but not this year. Not this year.

Sarah pulled at the bottom of her dress and began to think of his offer of having an alliance, it would work but Sarah couldn't help but keep her comments to herself "I'm sure a hot duo like us can survive." she said with a wink hoping that in the arena he wouldn't mention any of what happened in the train car. Maybe the duo could even recruit those from other districts to help them take out all the careers so that one of the lower districts could finally have a chance.

"I guess I'll take up your offer!"

In the Arena they'd probably be stuck with each other so they should probably get to know each other. He may eventually would have to kill her, but it would be hard. "Maybe we can team with someone else." he said.

She laughed and nodded slightly "Maybe I am..." she said when her face began to grow serious again. The two both knew what was to happen and that was that one of them or both would end up with blood splattered on the trees or wherever the Gamemakers were going to throw them this year.

"Your right. I guess we'll see our options when we start training." she said adjusting the bow that was sitting in her hair.

Felix laughed a little. This girl was cute, funny, and flirtatious, his kind. But they'd have to take the Games seriously if they were ever going to have a chance to win. Seven didn't win often, but Felix wanted one of them to bring home the victory. "I guess we will," he said.
